OBJECT: To determine the modulus of
rupture of concrete and it's relation to cube crushing strength (Min ratio
1:2:4 & water cement ratio =0.60)
APPARATUS: Cube mould (15cm x 15cm x
15cm). Beam mould (10cm x 10cm x 50cm). Trowel, Tamping rod, Plate vibrator,
glass jar 1000cc.
PROCEDURE:
1. Mix concrete constituents thoroughly
first dry then with water.
2. Fill cube & beam moulds in 3 layers
and compact each layer by tamping rod gluing 25 blows. Now compact by plate
vibrator.
3. Mark identification mark after
finishing.
